The BBKL Insider wroteCOLONI actually enjoy reading Lee's post. If he didnt cause shit this league would be boring. He keeps you fellas on your toes.

I'm not even causing shit on this one lol. I politely declined an offer then people try to attack me. It's what usually happens and I enjoy it because it keeps the league interesting for me , pointing out peoples ass backwards reasoning.
Asked for Scherbak because he was a late 1st and didn't have a great 1st year in the AHL. I like him as a prospect but you probably value him higher than I do. Nothing wrong with that. It was a buy low opportunity as I think he will get better.

I have no problem with you keeping an asset if you feel it is being undervalued though and #32 is far from a guaranteed NHLer.
Just FYI, the trade was declined because of the ultimatum. I said it was the best offer, counter offered with something I'd accept now, then was told that the offer of 32 was only valid for 30 minutes. I had no interest in accepting that offer in the next 30 minutes so I declined, politely, to save us both our time.
No problem, makes sense with the draft starting tomorrow. Perhaps when 32 rolls around you might have been more inclined to accept.
I think 32 for Pirri is right on. He's a scorer who isn't good enough for 2nd line and isn't good enough all around for 3rd line duties (IMO). Wouldn't be surprised if he didn't re-sign in NHL this year.
In fairness to Lee, did I not mention the idea of offering the 23rd or 25th overall? I didn't say for what player though. That would be a better offer than the 32nd overall, would it not?
My lean would be to trade the 25th overall unless 3 players I like are available at 23rd overall and I'd consider trading that pick. I can still get someone I like at 25th overall.
