no one else finds our scoring insane eh?

anyways, should pass Ottawa this week (10 more wins, 21 less ties<-WTF) to take last wild card spot -> CBJ not far behind me for HM. Would be nice to catch up to MTL (26 less wins, 9 more ties) so that it's not a locked in one and done!

I really didn't want to change our scoring system, but more I look at the standings, I'd like a w-otw-otl-l system to create more standings races. Everyone is so spread apart currently, and I don't believe a basic w-l scoring will change this.

This system will keep the middle of the road teams closer together, and keep bad teams stealing some points too. It will look more like the NHL standings.

Still planning on doing a mock of what this year's standings would look like in this w-otw-otl-l format.

thx Dave.

I think the cool W-L-T page needs the steady line with the week #s on top like the page with the weekly positions
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... =706297507

btw, that position is given by the pts recorded that week in each team's 4 matchups?

Surprised I ended up 11th last. Projected myself in the bottom 5 again to be honest.

Probably a bit of both, you have a few players which separate you from the bottom all on their own though.

Most of the bad teams are being bad on purpose to rebuild. There are only a couple who are unintentionally terrible.

That's makes sense when over half the league makes the playoffs. Losing teams make the NHL playoffs too (both Detroit and Minny are playoff teams with losing records at this point)
