had better offers than what I put him up for... 5 separate teams were actively bidding.
I think he'll be a solid contributor this year and may still have another year or two in the tank.
Worst case scott could flip him at the deadline. I wish i coulda hung on to him, but was cap strapped.

I give up (potentially) a late 3rd this year (the latest of three 3rds that I own) plus I've got two early 4ths...and I give up a late 4th next year (basically a 5th rounder). I wouldn't have paid more than what I offered. If Mike said someone was offering two 3rds, I would've said no.

nah best i had was a 17 3rd and a mid-tier prospect (not waiver eligible). so you take the cake...
