Florida places a claim on both Peter Schaefer & Jeff Woywitka
Edit- switched Woywitka and Schaefer (the order in which I wrote then)

You realize that by palcing a claim on both the order of your claim is important. If you are the ranking claim on both you will only be successful with whoever you stated first. As of right now Woywitka is the first one. Is that your choice?Florida Chris wroteCOLONFlorida places a claim on both Jeff Woywitka & Peter Schaefer

I thought we could only make one claim every 12 hours or something like that?

No I never know that, I will switch to Schaefer than Woywitka....If we could only claim 1 every 12 hrs, I just claim Peter Schaefermr. bruin wroteCOLONYou realize that by palcing a claim on both the order of your claim is important. correction Lee. You can only be "successful" once every 12 hours. That is successful in having your waiver claim win. You can place as many claims as you want but that is where the priority comes into play and you must state that if you are placing claims in the same post. Otherwise it would be whatever post was made first.

That's not what the CBA says,mr. bruin wroteCOLONcorrection Lee. You can only be "successful" once every 12 hours. That is successful in having your waiver claim win. I don't see anywhere that says "sucessful" waiver claim" but rather just "waiver claim"2-8 : No GM is permitted to make two waiver claims in a twenty-four (24) hour period
Re: [WAIVERS] - Schaefer, Woywitka, Janik on waivers
Well i think this is a wording issue. Why would a GM not be able to put in multiple claims but only be allowed to be successful once in a 12 hour period? That is my understanding anyways. Making a claim is one thing but succeeding in your claim is another. I tried to break this out before with relation to wording because the words tossed around tend to get misused. That is why i tried to get everyone to follow the same protocol. Like signing a free agent is one thing and placing a claim on a player that is on waivers is another. And to add to that a successful waiver claim is also different than placing a claim. I think we need to clarify this wording. It only makes sense that you can make multiple claims, does it not? But following the CBA you can only be successful once in the allotted period. That is why i thought the timing and order of claims was very important. Maybe we should get this figured out...I seem to have a different understanding of the wording than what you interpreted so that means it is grey. Lets clear this up in the CC.
