If you're a great enough GM to have sweet team where a combination of your depth/younger players is worthy enough of picking up another stud, why sacrifice your studs? That doesn't make sense and frankly is bad management... You're more than welcome to decline the offer but no need to say its not worthy (or the GM is a dick cause he won't put his top players on the board) when it seems like it would add a lot to your teamLeanMachine wroteCOLONyea I guess my pointsis I didn't have enough humilty to trade my 1C to a GM offering me his bottom 15 tier players on his depth chart.Mike wroteCOLONShaw + NJ's no 1 dman + a high-offense first rounder. You're welcome to decline, as you did, I don't see why this is an issue? Nor do I recall getting either an acknowledgement of my offer, or a counter. But that's fine. Enjoy RoR.
Matt gave me some of his more valauble pieces and I respect that. I just felt you sacrficed nothing in your attempt to land Kesler. all rosters are viewable on fantrax so I know when a GM is actually sacraficing to get what he wants.

I'm just jealous of Mike's team haha. Hard to trade with a guy when he has players in his minors that would be top 6 on half the BBKL teams.

you got it Matt. well said.
I guess it just feels good knowing the GM had to give thier top value to get my top value.

This deal only looks half decent for eric if ROR outscores Kesler by at least 20 pts
EDIT: didn't know he got his own 2015 1st back... it's more decent than people think then... with your own first round pick you can choose any kind of destination you wish by the season's end.
Are you slowly re-tooling your club Eric? this gives you a lot of flexibility

Re: BUF-SJS-LAK
I want a healty club kimmer. able to compete with a mix of old and young. not going to heavy one or the other. I believe it is possible to win with a good mix without sacrificing all future assets. I started old guy heavy, so if you notice about 80% of my trades have been youth orientated.
and ya you are bang on about getting my 1st back.
