The problem is, no team should be collapsing in their own end like the Leafs did with a 4-1 lead. Keep playing the way you were playing that got you the 4-1 lead in the first place. I don't understand why Carlyle gets his team to collapse like that in their own end to "protect" the lead.

Agreed shep. We should have been attacking the entire third period. Every big lead that ever gets blown is usually a result of sitting back. Doesnt matter if its hockey, football or basketball. Very poor decision making by carlyle.

With that said im still quite upset with phaneufs play.
