Quoted for fact. :? Scott..... is that you? Oh right, its Shiv...
Careful, Kyle. This isn't like the time you ripped your own brother multiple times over in BBKL till he quit.

And I can see how you would confuse the 2 people who have knocked you out of the BBKL playoffs ;).
Wtf does careful Kyle mean? You know nothing about why my brother quit and i actually only made one trade with him worth mentioning, the Callahan one. And i know what this is like. It is chuck having a team that, imo, could have won it all this year and now he has all your injured players and will wait till next year. I just think he sold himself short on the quality of his team and stepped aside and let you get stronger. A trade like this makes sense with a rebuilding team but not someone like Montreal. You pulled a good one again Shiv. Would have loved to be privy to those trade talks  Oh, and it is funny when Chuck says "shiv has never made an offer on Neal before" and on a completely unrelated topic, 2 days later, we were discussing Hartnells which is when the Neal trade happened...oh and yea thats right, i did offer advice 2 days prior on Kyles offer for Neal, but they are definitely unrelated.
Oh right - JUST Callahan. One of the greatest h2h players in bbkl.

And the fact that you called Chuck's team a contender says it all considering over 70% of his trades are with me. Most of my trades with Chuck are value wins for him. And you're acting like Hartnell isn't back in 6 weeks.

Calm down man. You lost one offer...There will be plenty of more chances.
Seriously man, stop saying that. You know that is not true. You are a competitor and want to win as bad as the next guy. The goal is to better your own team. You sound foolish when you always say the other teams that you trade with always win and you are the good guy helping everyone out. You are out to fuck as many people over as you can just like 29 other GM's in the league. Otherwise why would you be in a competitive league? You "play" to "Win" the game! Its not like everyone doesnt know everyone elses style by now. You saying that your trading partners are always getting value wins or the best deal is craziness. This is really who you are behind the keyboard.

No, they are different people, but like i said before, Shiv has Chuck held hostage under his stairs. Poor guy. You might call him Smithers, in relation to my above portrait of Shiv.

There is a reason I make more trades than anyone else in this league. You constantly make comments on my trades as if I am performing some sort on magic on my trade partners. But the reason I make so many trades is that I give the person i am trading with exactly what they want. If a person wants a particular player, I don't just rule him out like most GMs. Nor do I chase after an exact type of deal. If I see an opportunity for a cycle, I'll make a deal that doesn't match my exact needs and then make 2-3 more trades to get to where I want to be. This is a quality you will see in two other GMs - Kareem and Anton.

In Chuck's case, a year ago he was the 4/5 team in the NE. He is slowly working his way to the top of that division. Why? Because in our trades he wins Value and I win stats (See our Timonen trade. Or our Mikko Koivu trade etc. etc.) He is slowly creating cycles that add key players to his team. You may not see it because you operate your team in the exact opposite manner - which is fine. But Chuck's team has some of the higher value in the league at the moment.

Also - Hartnell is solid h2h and Chuck got 4 more pieces on top of him. Let's wait and see what he does with those pieces and what he ends up with on top of Hartnell.

I absolutely agree that Hartnell is a BBKL stud!

cycles can be fun...

for instance, I turned Sproul + 3rd 2013 and Subban (originally McBain + Klingberg iirc) into John Carlson, Luke Schenn, JT Miller and my 2nd this year.

I dont do it at hyper speed like some of you freaks though. jesus..
