Re: Buffalo/Washington ... minor deal
From now on when a trade is posted in the forum, use the following format:
STRUCTURE
To Pittsburgh:
Player A
To Toronto:
Player B
*ALWAYS USE THE TEAM'S CITY!
PICKS
Use the following format when trading picks:
2010 1st Rounder (PIT)
Year Round Team
Follow instructions on HashTags here: http://bbkl.ca/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=6390
Really appreciate the cooperation guys. It makes things a lot easier when moving trades over and recording them.
Thanks,
Shiv
To Team A
Sidney Crosby
2012 1st Rounder (PIT)
To Team B
Alexander Ovechkin
2012 1st Rounder (WSH)

Re: Buffalo/Washington ... minor deal
I'd say Buffalo won this trade because Phion got Andrew MacWilliam, future 60 pt dman.
Re: Buffalo/Washington ... minor deal
looks like a swap Richards/Pacioretty, so Buffalo wins this.

Safe to say any title that reads minor deal or Boom, is anything but minor.

Hardly.SuperMario wroteCOLONOh and B rich >>> pacs so Buf wins
Pacioretty put up almost as many points as Richards and is a way better contributor across the board. Richards may have more offensive potential moving forward, but typically the Rangers and Torts as a coach don't produce too many high-end offensive players so the days of Richards hitting 85+ points are over. Not to mention the age and gap.
If they were both wingers, Pac>>>Richards, but given that Richards is a centre the value is pretty even to me.

Re: Buffalo/Washington ... minor deal
I offered Wheeler for Patches. Him getting a C in return is pretty good value. Brich is pretty solid but so is Patches and i still think he is going higher...
Re: Buffalo/Washington ... minor deal
disapponting return for b rich... i really think my offer trumps the shit out of this lol and i offfered all the pieces for b rich alone
Re: Buffalo/Washington ... minor deal
John Scott is the stat of this deal. Cara-esque size!!!1
Re: Buffalo/Washington ... minor deal
Interesting that some people start to say how good richards is as soon as he's dealt lol. With many of the packages it came down to how people in their own eyes valuated the prospects/picks that they were giving up.
With futures so much of it is through that vision that alters a valuation. I am happy with the deal and it doesn't force me to lose any other pieces off my roster. I had to cut 6 million from it to get near the threshold. Now I am there. Future packages wouldn't give me a young, contributing NHL forward; and because of how prospects work...no certainty that another GM would love prospect/young UNestablished NHLer as much as the other.

Re: Buffalo/Washington ... minor deal
lol this league is amazing. One slow season and a proven player's value plummets. One good season and a player's value skyrockets - especially if said player is young. Patches isn't close to B Rich's level yet.Shep wroteCOLONHardly.SuperMario wroteCOLONOh and B rich >>> pacs so Buf wins
