Bieksa, Parenteau and Connolly

Post by Robin Hood »

Kevin Bieksa - H2H Superstar. Hits every fucking category. I do not want overpayment for him. But I do not want a package for him either. I am looking for either a 1 for 1 that is win-win or a 2 for 2 where I upgrade another roster player and downgrade Bieksa.

PA Parenteau - Signed in COL for $4M. 70 Point player who Hits and gets PIMS. Will line up with Duchene or Stastny. Please don't ask about him and then say "He hit 70 points because of JT." I rate him as a 65 point winger who brings solid periphs.

Tim Connolly
- Straight up, this league hates him. I rate him as a 45 point Center who gets 100+ SHTOI and 500+ FOW. If that valuation is around where you see him, message me.

Edler has a NMC and NTC till the end of his contract next summer barring only a season-ending injury.

This block is exactly why I'm not making any trades in the summer. So aggressive for no reason whatsoever.

I made this block for slow horses like you who constantly want something for nothing. If that means you won't trade the whole summer, then so be it.

Where do you value youth and potential in comparison to Connolly?

Talking about an injury prone youngster who has a high ceiling and has performed before.

Lol is there a player you had in mind? I can't respond to an offer if I don't know who the player is ;).

In casual conversion I quiet definitely 'check in'.

But you're both correct, Connolly has limited value & I was wondering were you valued Mueller in comparison. Clearly less, no big D.

LOL at calling PA a 70 pt guy. I love the player and think he will do really well but he has never hit 70 let alone established a track record to be called a 70 pt player. if you said 50-60 that still sounds great and wont sound like a complete attempt to get more for a player lol.

Also, if nick had offered me Mueller for Connolly that would have been my best offer by a mile.... I don't like Connolly but how low he is valued in this league is shocking.

PA Parenteau
2011-12 New York Islanders NHL 80 18 49 67
I rate him as a 65 point winger who brings solid periphs.

70 Point player who Hits and gets PIMS
and then down to
I rate him as a 65 point winger who brings solid periphs.
One is true in his best AHL season, the other is true in his best NHL season.

Hartford Wolf Pack AHL 74gp 29g 49a 78pts

or

New York Islanders NHL 80gp 18g 49a 67pts

Hell, at one point he was a 100+ point player:
Chicoutimi Sagueneens QMJHL 68gp 51g 67a 118pts

I actually believe PA is a very good 'other guy' on a high scoring line (a true #1 C + goal scoring winger), physical, fast and hard working, BUT also has the hands and offence to continue a play. Under valued in this league because he's so much an unknown, lots of 1-year anomalies, but lots of slow bloomers as well - is someone willing to place their bet!!!

Obviously the AVS did, similar to the Canucks with Garrison -> personally I think both are good, capable players who could put up # similar to what they just did, again.
