The whole time he said he'd only deal Handzus to upgrade one of his picks.. so I'm confused by this too.

You'd be half-incorrect...with my active 23 and two on IR, I'm at $44.2 million. If Shiv is over, then we've got a problem. That's on him to get that figured out.

I don't understand the beef towards Sopel...he's 5th in blocked shots and 10th in SHTOI amongst defensemen. There are only two defensemen in the league hitting top 5 in blocks and top 10 in SHTOI...Sopel and Toni Lydman.

I gotta agree with Shoalzie here. I'm not saying I'd necessarily do the trade, but I definitely see why he did it.
