something tells me there was another "favour" added to bergey's end that maybe didn't make the official transaction report

How were you planning on paying your rent again?

I normally do not post in the trade thread but i have to say when i saw that email notification i thought there must have been a mistake or the trade was missing the 3 first rounders added to it. Guess it was correct. I have to say i am with the majority here. Only my opinion though.

You and I both Kyle, LOL.

I did like a triple check when I checked the email on my phone.

Originally i thought that entire package was just for Stamkos, and i was like "well i would have wanted a bit more but thats fair" then i saw Vanek included and was like "we all know who the new slowest horse is."

Im jealous of Nick. I know the giggly feeling he has inside after this was completed. He is loving reading all of these replies. Next step is to defend the trade and state how great of a deal it was for Bergey...hahaha. But...Maybe Nash gets traded and becomes Backes x2.

Apparently.

It's still probably one of the worst deals I have seen around here during my entire tenure, it's my 3rd off-season too.

This is not a trade I would have made if I was Berg.

That being said, there is a major overreaction happening here. If Nash goes to the right team this off season, he is a 40 Goal Scorer without question. If he goes to the Leafs, Bergey kills this deal. Also Laich's H2H value is being severely discounted. Laich alone > Vanek.

Agreed with a lot of your points, but still wudnt say that bergey kills this even if he went to the leafs.

LOL @ Berg killing this deal if Nash goes to the leafs.

I guess that's one way to spin it.
