My goal with waivers is to copy what the NHL does. From 12:01 p.m. (Eastern) to the following day at 11:59 a.m. (Eastern), any player that is waived is to go on waivers at noon (12:00 p.m.) and they are able to be claimed until noon on the following day. Where I've been at fault is I will either miss a waiver posting (sometimes for a few days) or I can't be on here at noon to post so the process is delayed to the next day (or the next day I remember to post).

Last year, I can say with confidence that it went better than this year. With this year, every player does go through a 24-hour claim period but the problem has that I don't always get to it the next day as I should. To remedy that, I'm subscribing to the waiver thread so I will get e-mail notification of any post...ie--a player that is waived.

It's my responsibility to make sure I catch any player that is waived and make sure that I post it when they go on waivers and handle whether they clear or they are claimed. It's a very cut and dry process...I just need to be more reliable. If I can't post, I'd appreciate if someone can cover for me...but I'll let you know if that's needed. To have one person in charge is supposed to keep this from being a big mess.

*LOCKED*

The new thread is up and info has been updated. All I have left to do is verify who remains on the exempt list. Continue to post waivers in the proper thread. Claims will now be done here:
