When a player is placed on LTIR they must remain there for a minimum of three (3) weeks.
3 weeks from the day he is put on LTIR right?

and not 3 matchups minimum, correct?


also, how does retroactive LTIR work exactly? couldn't find reference for that, and this season is the first one i need to use LTIR.. (previous years i was well under the cap)

3 matchups minimum.

If a player is injured (though dressed) in week 1, put on the bench in weeks 2 and 3, he can still be put on ltir retroactive to week 2 so long as he hasn't returned in the interim.
