going back through the draft list, I'm surprised no one took Lucas Carlsson, among others.

Another guy missing I expect to see drafted is Jake Massie.

What are your best guesses for soon to be NHL draftees that were passed over in our 2015 draft?

Massie was drafted.

Guys I expect to be drafted that BBKL passed on are Artyom Volkov (22nd ranked Euro) Colt Conrad and possibly Jake Jeremko.

Almost took Jaremko with my last pick. If he was 6'2 I probably would have taken him.

So here are the BBKL 1st rounders who are fallers:
DRAFT SUMMARY
Round 1
1. Toronto (from DAL) -- Connor McDavid
2. Montreal (from OTT via PHI) -- Jack Eichel
3. St. Louis (from DET) -- Noah Hanifin
4. Edmonton -- Mitchell Marner
5. Dallas (from PHI) -- Dylan Strome
6. Arizona -- Ivan Provorov
7. Florida -- Mikko Rantanen
8. Nashville (from CAR) -- Pavel Zacha
9. Tampa Bay (from VAN) -- Lawson Crouse
10. Vancouver (from CLB via NSH) -- Mathew Barzal
11. Nashville (from ANA via VAN) -- Zachary Werenski
12. Dallas (from STL via VAN) -- Kyle Connor
13. Edmonton (from TB via ANA) -- Jeremy Roy
14. Nashville (from NYR via PIT) -- Evgeny Svechnikov
15. Winnipeg -- Travis Konecny
16. Dallas (from CGY via TOR) -- Timo Meier
17. San Jose -- Nicholas Merkley
18. Dallas (from CHI via TOR) -- Joel Eriksson Ek
19. Los Angeles (from NJ via EDM) -- Daniel Sprong
20. Edmonton (from BUF via LA) -- Colin White
21. Minnesota (from MON via ARI) -- Thomas Chabot
22. Toronto (from NYI) -- Jakub Zboril
23. Minnesota -- Oliver Kylington
24. Colorado -- Jeremy Bracco
25. Nashville (from WAS via DAL) -- Denis Gurianov
26. Toronto (from BOS) -- Brock Boeser
27. Edmonton (from PIT via LA) -- Noah Juulsen
28. Los Angeles -- Gabriel Carlsson
29. Toronto (from NSH) -- Jansen Harkins
30. Boston (from TOR via PHI) -- Ilya Samsonov
30B. Philadelphia *COMPENSATION* -- Mackenzie Blackwood
really not surprised by Roy, Sprong, Kylington and Bracco falling out of the 1st.

Surprised instead that Merkley was close to be in their company.

Bracco is the one I could see fall farther.
Kylington and Sprong best bets are probably with teams that have multiple picks and are less worried in going with a boom/bust type of prospect. So one might think of Toronto, but if they really wanted one of them they wouldn't have traded down from #29 I guess.

Guessing next 3 picks I'd say something like Bittner @COL, Carlo/Harkins @ARZ, Dunn @TBY.

but 2nd round going to be super interesting.. feels like there are 50 candidates for 30 spots.

The 5 that weren't in our first round were taken no later than 43...Senyshyn was the latest of the NHL 1st rounders.

Colorado picks 31 and 40 so I don't think they'll reach at 31...take best available. I thought Carlo made sense at 32 to Arizona because I assumed they'd go with a forward with the 3rd overall. With Roy and Kylington sliding...that might move Carlo back some more. Maybe the Lightning take Carlo since they love the big defensemen.

Day 2 should be fun. Lots of good players left especially with Boston's Lets Pretend to be a GM for the day picks
