I'd be really happy to see the Raps land Chandler.. a legit C with big time attitude and hard rim-rockers. Maybe losing Bosh won't be too bad after all! What would the starting 6 look like?

Diaw - Chandler - Bargnani
Barbosa - Jack

the above is a question lol

this team just needs to get more "black". Real talk.

These moves have probably been some of the better ones that Colangelo has made.

Was money an issue here?

Doubt it.

This really hurts from a Raptors standpoint, not only did we lose out on a great deal that filled alot of holes, but now we have three players who know they were dealt (Calderon, Jones and Evans), as well as a glut of mediocre guards. Michael Jordan is a real asshole for backing out like this, and the worst part is this isn't the first time that cunt bucket has done so.

Agreed, what the fuck.
The players even gave interviews after being TRADED. You would think as a former player he'd understand this a bit more, but I guess he didn't have to deal with the whole aspect of being traded etc.

Ridiculous. I only asked if money was an issue because I heard Jordan didn't want that much money coming back, and was pushing for the trade exception I think.

I think money was a bit of an issue. From what I read he really like having dampiers contract come to charlotte in the trade? I think it's his last season and his contract is retarded so the bobcats would end up clearing a lot of cap space at the end of the season.

PS. kareem is right, cunt move by jordan.

Yeah it was about salary, Neel was right. I didn't realize the Cats were considering dropping Dampiers salary...

Not really...Nothing wrong with tanking for a high pick in a great draft year, that being said I doubt he takes that route.

Meh...We are still shit at the 1 and 5, and undetermined at the 4. All this does is add depth to the wings, don't get me wrong I like Barnes, but as currently constructed this Raps team is not looking good.

Even before the trade we had, as it was lottery protected until 2014.

It's a risk I personally wouldn't mind taking, but I highly highly doubt it's one Colangelo would consider as it would destroys our teams cap flexibility. Not that it matters, we aren't going to sign a big name UFA anytime soon...
