I hear all the critics raging about lack of loyalty from the denver organization - and have no doubt that it's a two-way street, mgmt disses player, player leaves for better money/weather/fame - but to be clear; this is MANNING, his backup doesn't play, his offensive tactics will be night and day compared to what Tebow can run - Tim had to leave town as he didn't fit ( as a QB, maybe a full back?).

I was shocked by the 4th, but even more amazed that those criticizing the Bronco's for signing one of, if not the best QB's in the NFL.

Remember, this is a 36 year old player coming off of a serious neck injury which needed surgery to heal. Oh, he's also returning to what is probably (hockey and one or two other European sports are in the conversation) the most vicious professional leagues in the world of sport.

You shouldn't be so surprised that people are criticizing the signing.

Many of the people I'm hearing are not criticizing it on health concerns.

Also he needs to pass a physical each year to get the contract.

They should. I'm also a Penn State fan. Great hands and route runner with above average speed. Should be a solid starting possession receiver in the NFL. In most draft years he is probably a 2nd round pick.

I admittedly don't watch much college football. Mainly view individual game tape of some prospects and scouting reports closer to the draft so I can't comment on him. They met with him like 4-5 times I believe though.

I'd have easily traded Jordan Matthews to buy an extra 3rd Ed pick to secure Godwin. Godwin can catch the ball so he already has a leg up on Matthews lol! I was miffed too when the Eagles traded up for Matthews when they could've stayed put and taken Allen Robinson. Let's hope for Jourdan Lewis here lol!

I was a big fan of Matthews coming out. Still am a fan, but I don't want him back for the money he'll command. Lewis seems like an interesting corner. Tankersley is still there too.

Foreman just went to the Texans. I liked him but don't think he'd fit this offence very well anyways.

Wow Lewis to Dallas

Gallman and Perine could both be options at RB for different reasons. Kamara was really the last all-purpose 3 down back. Gallman could be Sproles long term replacement and Perine is a problem to tackle.

Could also go TE. Butt would basicly replace Celek and Bucky Hodges would be a match-up problem.

And are you fucking kidding me that Lewis goes to the Cowboys? Fuck.

I actually have a feeling this ends up being Chad Hansen.

He's another guy they seem to have liked. I believe they told Wentz to study him and a few other wideouts lol

Yep. They had Wentz work him out. Not sure how I would feel about that pick. Kind of a bit of a project. Guess I would just have to trust Joe, Howie, and Carson there.

And Tankersley off the board. Not really any CB's to get too excited about this early.
