I imagine Murray is back before long, but what an awful gamble it's looking like for Ottawa. Fortunately, Ottawa did not give up a whole lot in the 1st place to acquire Murray.

Good thing I grabbed Forsberg... I shouldn't be completely void of goalie starts for the season.

Unfortunate. Been bad for a few years now… feel for the guy after what was an incredible start.

Only way is if a team moves and I’d bet Houston would be ahead of nordiques…

I read a good take about this online, Quebec wants an NHL team. As far as fan bases and ownership groups, they are probably the closest to ready, so the NHL is using Quebec as a pawn to force the hands of politicians and/or whoever else needs a push to approve things to keep the team in the desert by threatening relocation.

As far as it actually happen, 2 other big markets would be considered before Quebec gets a team again (I believe Houston and Kansad City were ones I read about)

Houston is way bigger, but you're also competing with the Texans, Astros, and rockets and college sports there.

It’s true. Just don’t see the Quebec market making it happen with the price of an expansion team and the small group of fans to draw from and the Canadian dollar. I think it would be a struggle. Unless you guarantee success hard to see long term success there

It makes sense for both the players and the team. He has shown he will be good so if he continues in that direction, the team has him on a good deal. On the player's side, he gets 64 million.

Hughes will probably prove to be worth it, but that is a lot of money and commitment for 55 career points.

Sure but that’s all based on league revenue and number of players on an active roster… can’t compare at all. It’s a stupid comment.
