This is such a wierd offseason...Tons of players who can still play signing elsewhere, and many very servicable UFA's still unsigned.

He has winger eligibility though, which makes him such an attractive piece.

I'm kinda wondering what the hell is going on with Sutton. I really need to hold off on any moves until i find out if he signs and for hwo much. I am hoping 2 or 2.5 ish.

This whole UFA/arbitration period has killed my cap, and made me quite nervous about my team heading into the season. There are just too many variables for my liking.

Yea I am kinda feeling the same about my team. I do not think I am a favorite this season. I have a good team but not that much i can do now. More wait and see as i do not have many picks or solid youth in my system. Could be a good year or could be an average year for me. A lot of my role players last season got big raises now...much tighter...

I don't think I'm a contender either, I have two huge holes on the wing until Begin signs, two rookies in the lineup who may or may not make the team out of camp (MSP, Kadri), and no bench. At this point, STL, NJD, and LAK are sitting real pretty...

Yea i need Svitov to sign over here and have Petersson at least have a third line role to even possibly have a bench.

I still have 6 unsigned NHL veterans on my roster...I'm pretty much in a holding pattern until guys like Belanger or Metropolit or Theodore sign. From what I hear, Lehtinen is probably going to retire so I'll drop him when he finally decides on his future. That'll make room for a guy like Sexton.
