Going into our 15th season

Summary
- FHSL is a 16-team league
- 12-man roster size: 6 forwards, 4 defensemen, 2 goaltenders

During the off-season, our annual Fantasy Draft occurs on a 1 round per week basis (roughly). There are 9 Draft Rounds, snake order, to complete a roster that carries 3 Keeper Players. GMs are allotted a 24-hour Draft Clock (unless otherwise indicated) to make his or her selection. A missed draft pick falls to the bottom of the round. If missed again, the League will 'auto-pick' the selection.

Scoring System
Forwards/Defensemen
1 point: Goal, Assist
1 additional point: PPG, PPA, SHG, SHA, OTG, OTA, GWG
Goaltenders
2 points: Win, regulation, or overtime
5 additional points: Shutout
1 point: Assist, or Goal

Transactions
Roster Trades must include equal number of assets, including Roster Players and/or Draft Picks in order to maintain a roster size of 12 Players. All existing player points are included in any trade.

When a trade is agreed upon, one of the participating GMs will post it in the Trade Board, with the other GM then posting their acceptance of the deal.

Waivers are unlimited. Waiver releases and claims must be for a player of the same position. Waivers are first come, first serve.

A league-wide trade deadline including waivers shortly follows the NHL trade deadline (date TBD). Trades can resume after the naming of Keeper players in the following summer. Additionally, the GM who finishes 1st Overall in the Regular Season Standings receives a bonus waiver claim to be used at the start of the Playoffs.

Playoffs
A Top 10 of 16 position is required to qualify for the playoffs. The first tie breaker is total team goals. Second time breaker is total goalie wins. Third tie breaker is total game-winning goals.

Following the Regular Season, there is a weighted Draft Lottery for all non-playoff teams. Lotto odds: 27%, 23%, 19%, 15%, 11%, 5%. Six numbers will be drawn to determine the order of the top 6 selections.
