Shoalzie wroteCOLONRight. I've got all the information on my end so when players are moved team-to-team, the information goes with them. It's meant so you guys don't have to enter any of this info again.

I can scan your roster and fill in some of the contracts for you if you'd like. I'm going team-by-team on CapFriendly to confirm/update each player but I can focus on players you guys have on your sheets. I'm using all the information CapFriendly provides for current and future projects. I'm not just entering AAV.
yea ok makes sense, sounds pretty labour intensive.

If you think of a way we could help (like 4 people and you for the master list, which would make it easier!) let us know!

I'll get the veteran players entered first, Lee. I'm sure you'll have some guys on ELC that you can slide but I'll get to those later.

I think most of us are concerned with what our lineups will look like and how that looks against the cap. As you guys are plugging names into your sheets, I'll see what veterans are missing key info and I'll give them priority.

Okay, was more interested in my kids to see who can slide as I have some players to divest myself of (at 101) and contract status will play a role in who I can keep.

Hey Scott, when you move a player from reserve to active etc. (column I moves) it moves everyone at the same position in column M below them around. For example I moved Pateryn from my bench to active, and he went to the top of my list of D, this moved every defensemen on my roster in column M down a row, but each row kept its position designation (D1, D3, D5 etc.) which makes a mess of my team each time I try to make a roster move. Is there anything we can do about this or am I doing something wrong?

You're not doing anything wrong. The filtered lists are alphabetized when they appear in that middle section. If you do make a change to your active players, it'll shuffle your order around. Let's say you selected Zarley Zalapski to be active first and then picked Aaron Miller as active second...Miller would show up first on the list and Zalapski would appear second.

You guys don't need to do the D1, C2, W5, etc. designations...that's all optional. I know I've goofed myself up a couple times with this filtered list thing. I was trying something different but it might end up being a bigger pain in the butt. I'll see how it goes.

As I add some of the ELCs...Lee has done so already...any player with "Eligible" in column M on the Roster sheet...those players can have their contract slide. Post who you want to slide and I'll add that designation to the database.

I'm going to have some free time this weekend to check on progress with your sheets. I'll fill in any missing info for players on your 'Roster' sheet. I've seen about half the teams have started using their sheets. It's early August so no rush...I'm here if you have any questions.'

I also need to get caught up on some of the recent trades you guys have made.
