A few logos are tough to see...some don't read well at a small size. In the end, it's just extra info. Not essential but just thought if would be handy.

I like the NHL logo for UFAs...CapFriendly does that. If those other logos weren't on Chris Creamer's site, I would've left them off. I just used the league logos and not the individual teams. That would've been overkill.

I'm also using the waiver exempt and slide logos from CapFriendly.

Sheet sharing has been sent out and I've posted some how to's in the opening post. Please ask me any questions you have. I tried to keep these sheets fairly simple.

You'll noticed I've utilized data validation, drop down menus and filtering. These are features that I liked from the sheets Josh (SJ) has made for ADHL. With data validation when you enter any name, you will get the closest matches for your player's name. You can select the name that appears or finish typing the name. Only names that appear in my database can be entered. Any name that is missing from the database, please let me know.

Looks great Scott. There's a few of my recent draft picks (Georgi Ivanov, Jiri Karafiat, Nate Knoepke) missing from the database from the looks of it but other wise working well. Some recently signed contracts missing information but I imagine that will all get filled in later.

I haven't been able to change the cells in the P column of the Preseason tab to set anyone into the lineup though.

Any of the draftees that didn't get drafted into the NHL will need to be added on my end. I'll get you guys squared away this week.

You can call those sheets whatever you want...but remember that first sheet is what I need to look at for the roster submission in September.

Man, you don't waste any time Lee...I just got your sheet to you.

Row 93 isn't for data...it's supposed to be blank.

Any player that I don't have their birthdate entered, it appears 117 as their age...that will be corrected.

As I told Brendan, I'll work on your guys info now that I have the sheets in your hands.

I can post that thread now but just like last year, you tell me who you want to slide and I'll do that in the database.

Fill in your sheets as much as you can and I'll fill in the missing info. I'm well aware of what info is missing. I have you the sheets now without the completed database or I make you wait all summer until I give you the sheets while I fill in the information.

I'll add the missing BBKL draftees tonight. The next several weeks will be finishing up the database. You guys will have to be patient...and I'll make it a priority to get the players on you initial teams using the new sheets set up.

Players that unexpectedly appear as if they need to clear waivers is based on if there's information missing for the player. I have formulas using the player's birthdate, GP and contract status. If any of those pieces of info are missing, they'll appear as being not exempt. I encountered this exact problem when I started using the sheet when I had missing info for my players. The problems go away as data is entered.

Missing:
Aleksi Heponiemi
Kirill Maksimov
Mario Ferraro
Tyler Inamoto
Adam Ahman

Lance Bouma's contract was bought out and needs to be updated
Josh Anderson (CLB) doesn't show him as belonging to CLB
Nikita A. Popugayev doesn't show up as NJD property
Christoval Nieves apparently needs to clear waivers?

Also, just trying to see what all the new colour coding etc. means, green downward arrow means what?
How do we set our lineups C1, C2 etc?

I can make Glendening active as he's dual C/W. I also don't have a clue how to set my lineup... maybe I'm just old.

It's in the opening post...I mentioned the arrow icon there. I'm using a couple icons from CapFriendly.

https://capfriendly.com/teams/predators

For example, Fiala and Gaudreau has the green down arrow...that means waiver exempt. I'm using that icon for us.

Also, there's a blue downward diagonal arrow that they use for slide risk players. I'm using that as our designation for players you've elected to slide.

How do we set our lineups C1, C2 etc?

Good catch Josh...I did lock the L10 through L32 cells so you couldn't set up you line chart. That was a goof on my part. I fixed yours...I'll fix everyone elses tonight.
