2017-18 BBKL Google Sheets:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... sp=sharing

"Draft" Sheet:
* All draft picks that your team owns will appear in the appropriate cells based on the particular draft and round. This information will be entered remotely and update on a regular basis.

"Roster" Sheet:
* Enter all the names of players on your current roster in cells A3 to A92.
* After roster submission, make sure to enter names of players that are traded, waived or dropped in cells A94 to A143. Removing names from this sheet will affect sheets from previous weeks.

"Preseason" (Weekly Lineup) Sheet:
* Re-enter the names of players on your current roster in cells A2 to A91. You can only enter names that appear on your "Roster" sheet.

* In column I (Roles), assign a role to each player (Active, Reserve, Minors or Inj Res).
* All players assigned "Active" as their role will appear in cells M10 to M32. These players' salaries will count towards your salary cap.
* All players assigned "Reserve" as their role will appear in cells M33 to M35. These players' salaries will also count towards your salary cap.
* All players assigned "Minors" as their role, their salaries will not count towards your salary cap.
* All players assigned "Inj Res" as their role will appear in cells M37 to M46. These players' salaries will also count towards your salary cap. Include both players on IR and LTIR as players you assign "Inj Res".

* Any players that need to go on LTIR, enter their name in any of the available LTIR spots as well as enter any names of active players you want to use as cap relief.

* "Line Chart": Assign your active players to an appropriate position in column L and their names will appear in the line chart. Filling out the lineup chart is optional.

* "Must Clear Waivers": Starting in cell R20, any player that is assigned "Minors" as their role and do not have the green down arrow in column F, that player will appear as one that needs to clear waivers to be placed in the minors. Players in this list, must clear waivers that week. Players that do clear waivers can still appear in this list in any week following their assignment to the minors.

* "Sliding Contracts": Starting in cell S20, players whose contract that is chosen to slide for this season will appear in this list. Any player that is eligible to have their contract slide, see column M on the "Roster" sheet. In column H in the weekly lineup sheet, an icon will appear if the player has been given this designation. You can only assign players you choose to slide to "Minors" as their role. These players don't count towards your 50 contracts.

Put a lot of time in on it yesterday...I'm almost there. I'll continue to work on it today. I've got plans on the 3rd and 4th so Wednesday...it's beta day!

Lee and Cliff have already expressed interest. Tim, you've not had a sheet to use so I'll get you in on the beta as well. I'd like to get another 4 or 5 volunteers. It's more for testing the performance of the information updates and making sure all the tweaks to the weekly sheet are working properly.

There will be a few new things about the weekly sheet...I'll outline that on Wednesday. The roster sheet is pretty much the same. The only difference is you don't have to enter the position of the player...just the names. The draft page is the same but it now includes the 2019 picks.

I've position info in the database and I'll work with Mik on integrating his position updates. Any time he does an update, I can update that info on my end or I can have his updates go directly into the database. We can figure something out.

So, the first 4 or 5 volunteers to chime in...I'll get you set up on Wednesday. I have all your e-mails from last year's sheets so I don't need that info from you guys.

Yeah...I know Mik wasn't a big fan of that from last year. That was the weak spot of last year's layout.

glad you remembered about my whining! :)

thx for the change, much appreciated personally.

If I have to nitpick again.. not sure importing icons from other leagues helps if they're given the same relevance/layout as NHL icons, would probably look cleaner only with NHL logos all of same small size?
