A lot of predictions lately seem to have him going to Vegas.
Ya.. and likely Van won't pick him because sources says they put a premium on speed (i duno about that if Rasmussen has good spd though).. imo he is the 3-4 BPA though..

but it doesn't matter to me.. wherever he lands as long as he keeps up his great work ethics and he promises to work on his skating.. i have every confidence in him to be a top line centre.. but honestly i'd love him to land on a Canadian team haha

Also possible. But I think both are gone in that 14-24 area

I'm hopeful
Good chance some of my later picks go very late or not at all though

I have 4 of 10 sliding, but like I mentioned earlier I honestly am making wild guesses and have no idea how this draft will play out other than about 40 guys I'm confident go in the top 50 then it's all bets off.

I expect a few of my guys to slide at least. Shaw will probably slide the furthest of my early picks bc of size and not being an elite skater. Knowing that, don't care because he is one of the most well rounded prospects in this class imo.

Safin probably slides due to inconsistency.

Oettinger slides bc he is a goalie. Could legitimately go late teens early 20's, but as late as middle of the 2nd. Don't care because he is by far the best goaltenders prospects in the draft.

Cale Fluery could slide bc I'm sure there will be questions when you go -61.

General consensus on Ratcliffe has been late 1st, but there is a good chance imo he does top 15.

Primeau could really go anywhere from mid 2nd-4th.

Rest of my guys could really go anywhere from 3rd-undrafted really. It's that kind of year.

I suspect people choose players they like and feel are being undervalued at where they pick them.

That being said while I put maker at 6-8 if he slid to 13-14 I'd not be surprised because of the league he played in.

Pretty sure a bunch of guys we drafted in the 2nd/3rd will go way earlier, and similarly a bunch will go way later. Just that kind of draft

I did, on most of mine. I always take guys earlier than they go.

2 (33) - Urho Vaakanainen - predicted 27 DRAFTED 18
2 (39) - Josh Norris - predicted 30 DRAFTED 19
3 (73) - Eemeli Rasanen - predicted 90 DRAFTED 59
3 (87) - Artyom Minulin - predicted 91 UNDRAFTED
4 (94) - Lane Zablocki - predicted 100 DRAFTED 79
5 (145) - Patrick Khoderenko - predicted 180 UNDRAFTED
5 (155) - Kasper Kotkansalo - predicted 130 DRAFTED 71
6 (168) - Santeri Virtanen - predicted 131 DRAFTED 105
6 (186) - MacAuley Carson - predicted 151 UNDRAFTED
7 (217) - Emil Oksanen - predicted 140 UNDRAFTED

Overall I'm pretty pleased, getting 2 guys taken in the mid 1st without a 1st round pick is great value and picked up another 2nd in the BBKL 3rd round who was drafted by the Leafs. Minulin going undrafted is pretty shitty but Kotkansalo taken in the early 3rd 84 picks earlier and Virtanen going 63 picks earlier softens the blow. Two late picks going undrafted is no big deal, but I almost took Hawel over Oksanen and he went 101 so that was probably the smarter pick.

My mayyybe turned out to be true. Pettersson at 5, Andersson at 7 (wow), Thomas at 20, all ahead of even my bold predictions. Robertson at 39, 10 behind
Lakatos at 157, 5 behind my estimate
Surprised that Knoepke and Ivanov didn't get drafted, but there's always next year
Vovchenko has now aged out of the draft which is fine, maybe comes over to NA as a free agent
