If by being a loser at the deadline you mean from your perspective as a team I'll now eliminate then I do agree :)

lol I like the trashtalk, especially when coming from a GM I didn't expect to be so bold about this year's playoffs

Apparently a week draft, and I'm losing someone to expansion and Toews and Weber aren't getting younger, might as well try and win, most of the league is focused on rebuilding so there's only you, LAK and MIN really that seem to be in it in the West this year

It's called a weak draft year because the top 10 are weak. Rest of the draft is the same as ever.

I like to consider myself the "playoffs by default" team. Some better teams missted the playoffs because of conferencing. I'm relieved to finally make the playoffs but not really happy about it.

Agree. I think a couple other teams made solid moves too but he improved his team the most yesterday and solidified himself as a contender in the West.

I would of loved to grab a good top winger and or Dman, but availably and lack of cap space made it really hard this deadline. Because of this I will likely be a 1st round knockout/might miss the playoffs. I also don't have the available piece(s) (other then a few prospects, who I want to have a big part of my teams future) to pull off a big move. Anyway making a big move could of been good, but could also of been a big mistake. My team is just starting to turn the corner from garbage to legit contender. This season my goal is to make the playoffs. This offseason I hope to make a few more moves to improve my team, and hopefully bring it to a place where year after year I can be a contender for a long time....That is my goal.

huh .. obviously didn't think I was a loser as I gained stats and position swaps, maximizing games played during playoffs

Your big trade of the deadline was a minimal stat gain for a really good prospect and then Nelson subsequently got flipped to Nick for eakin and another really good spec. Not to mention you could've had a much bigger addition to your roster, but greed got in the way.
