the cc (in this case, Mik) will be making changes for everyone - then is if there is a mistake made the GM can let us know here. But you need to show the numbers, if you cannot bother, then there is no reason why we should either.

I've started performing the due updates requested in this thread, in the next couple of days i should be able to go through the list of BBKL Centers and make the remaining needed changes.

I'll notify here when finished, so from that point onward GMs will be able to check their rosters for any mistake.

There will be no deadline to point out mistaken assignements, whenever recognized (even after the season started*) they will be corrected.


* please note this is not to be confused with updating players' positions according with the new season stats. Updates due to new season stats will only happen accordingly with the scheduled timetables (i.e. ASG break or after players' 26th game of the season for those eligible for early update); the corrections i'm here talking about only pertain mistaken assignments off last season stats.

I've completed the update going through the entire list of BBKL centers, HOWEVER i've run into a problem:
it looks like several dual eligible players can not be brought back to one single position on CBS.
The operation worked for some players (like Zetterberg, Elias, etc), but unfortunately not for everyone.

Unless/until this can be fixed on CBS, we will have to pay a little bit of attention to this.

Here is a list of players that we couldn't set back to a single position on CBS:
Zubrus, Dubinsky, Giroux, C.Adams, Marleau, A.McDonald, A.Hall

All these players can only be used as C despite CBS giving you the chance to use them as wingers.
Obviously we will look for any infraction and the lineup would be considered illegal whenever any of these players is used as winger (that is as long as their current BBKL position won't be modified).


Furthermore, i need some cooperation here:
i'm not sure i noticed all the dual eligible players currently left on CBS, actually i'm almost sure of the contrary.
So i need every GM to check his roster and report here any player who still appears as dual eligible on CBS.

For any of these players the correct real position should be the one currently set on CBS (the one where the player shows up in the rosters grid), however we will specify it in this thread for all the players reported.

Any CBS dual eligible player that won't be reported here will still be considered eligible only for his right position (the one determined through our criteria and easily noticeable from our lists http://bbkl.ca/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=3669 & http://bbkl.ca/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=3669#p47757) in BBKL and a sanction will be considered by CC.

guys, you only need to report the name of players on your team who still have dual eligibility.

Which will be their final position has already been determined.

Only after i've completed the update you may ask for correction IF you find something wrong accordingly with our criteria.

nope, they are not listed as centers: what matters is their position in the right column, not beside their name. If you check their current position on the roster grid page they are in fact wingers.

Problem is, CBS won't take away their original CBSposition, so they are still C/W for CBS, whereas you'll only be allowed to use them as wingers.

Adam starts as C: less than 26GP and http://www.nhl.com/ice/draftsearch.htm? ... n=&round=2

as for Langkow, his totals from last season don't matter as he only played 4 games. The season of reference for him is 09/10 when he played 72 games.
Unfortunately nhl.com is having some problems these days, as Langkow isn't showing up anymore in the team faceoff stats page; however the fact he is on this list http://bbkl.ca/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=3669 confirms he resulted to be a C when i compiled that page and his totals were available. Hopefully they will be back soon on nhl.com.
