I'm basically in it with being in it. I don't have a vote but I like to get involved in the conversation. We need active conversation in there because we only see 3 or 4 voices in there at most.

I moved the CC related stuff to this thread, it's from last year and on the same subject.


Personally I don't think such a large number of CC members would work that well. The more people, the more on paper you have to wait for everyone to chime in...

anyway, given the current lack of activity, and bruyns temporary heavy commitments, we definitely need to add someone who is active.

Also, the Admins went from 3 to 1 now, which further reduced the activity.

I think 1 admin + 5 CC members would be enough if they were active. I don't know who is supposed to decide on the CC structure btw.

We may want to add 2 guys given Bruyns current situation and Chuck current level of activity, but I wouldn't go beyond 6 CC members personally.

You remove yourself first and I'll gladly do the same. I also voted to remove mik because i think we need new voices on the cc, not because he doesn't do a lot or work. I have no issues with him staying but we need a larger CC with 3-5 extra and new members. The cc is suppose to represent the league. The guys i suggested would bring a new look to the league and help out with the shared eork.

Matt was a great add but probably could be removed from the cc.

Chuck is a good guy but he's been super busy and probably wouldn't mind stepping down in the cc.

Add 4 new guys. 2 to replace chuck and matt and 2 as brand new positions.

Just my 2 cents. I think matt and chuck have done excellent jobs but i went through boot camp. Matt isn't going to have a life for another 18 months.

Re: admin vote, de facto it's been we (now I) only vote if we have a deadlock. I think that works.

I'll try to chime in more frequently on issues, but only cast a vote if needed.

You may want to replace Matt as long as he is completely impeded, but not having him inside the CC whenever he is back able to contribute is a step in the wrong direction imo.

I disagree with having to wait for people to voice their opinion. If we have ACTIVE members on the CC we wouldn't have to wait at all.

I would like to be a part of the cc. I am active. I would like to help to make the little tweaks to keep the league strong, and improve it where needed. I know my opinion isn't always the right one just because it is what I prefer (so I can ignore it), and on a panel such as cc we need to be impartial and look at the facts. But also, this is meant to be a fun league, so sometimes the opinion of a large majority for the purpose of league improvement must also be considered, rather than just looking at hard facts.

Im sure there are a few people out there who dislike me and would prefer Im not on cc, but I would like to do this, and will try my best to always be fair and impartial, if chosen.
