CAR New Year's Block for Contenders

Post by kimmer »

Jonathan Marchessault ($5M)
>>> Cap-controlled, top 8 in all of NHL in SOG with a modest 30 pts on the year
>> Come get this "CORSI-GOD" for elite futures downgrade (incl 1st round entry picks) + lesser NHLer GP

Andreas Athanasiou ($3M)
>>> Cap-controlled and solid production per cap earned
>> Great option for secondary scoring on any club

Tomas Tatar ($5.3M)
>>> Cap-controlled and on pace for ~60-65 pts with solid STPTS contribution
>> Consistent 20+ goal scorers not easy to come by so come get him for elite futures downgrade (incl 1st round entry picks) + lesser NHLer GP

***Rest of these guys are also up for grabs - quality winger for a quality CENTER needed***

Zach Aston-Reese $925,000
W - PIT
Carl Hagelin $4,000,000
W - LA
Tyson Jost $1,673,333
W - COL
Magnus Paajarvi $900,000
W - OTT
Melker Karlsson $2,000,000
W - SJ
Saku Maenalanen $1,275,000
W - CAR

any kind of advanced statistics that favour a player's value can also indicate better chance at producing certain H2H categories we play with, as I JUST indicated how high his shot totals are despite falling outside of top 50 in scoring thus far (but then it's a crazy competition for pts nowadays with NHL rule changes to encourage scoring), I believe his pt total will eventually drive up with the way he plays

there are nearly 40 players right now who are PPG or over - I don't think something like this was ever heard of previously...
there is still slightly over half a season left yet - interesting to see the percentage who do keep it up VS who fall off VS who CATCH up from below
