Sutter is about as good at hockey as the d-men suggested. Looks like an even swap to me.

Do any of those defensemen even play hockey any more? A lot of injuries and healthy scratches it looks like...

It's important for GMs to be a bit more honest about their assets, because likely you're not fooling anyone regarding perceived/actual player value in a league of this size and base knowledge required to survive here. I play in 2 leagues just like this of same magnitude so more or less I'm gonna have the same or better knowledge on those players and their according values

What does that even mean Sutter is as good a hockey player as those 3 d-men, it's not even about skills, it's about what they bring to H2H and their potential longevity and expected service time
Not to mention a C (actual full time that don't get scratched) is always worth a bit more than a D

sutters a type of player who can rack up goals if hes under a certain coaching system. Otherwise relied heavily on defensive responsibilities, hence you won't see his offensive numbers up
more than capable 2C on a bad NHL team and a premium shutdown C in any kind of NHL club

come back when you're ready for a more serious talk without ignorance

Man, so much anger around here these days. Jesus.

What's with throwing around the word ignorant all the time?

Also, try not to act like Sutter is some prized possession. He's a 30 point player (in a good year) who can PK a little and hit people from time to time. Sure he's semi-valuable in a H2H league, but he is replaceable. Hell, I have Boyle and Letestu who can do exactly what he does at less than half the price. You'll never see Sutter on a contending team's roster at that cap hit. He's only ''valuable'' because this league puts a premium on players who take faceoffs.

The only reason I have interest is because my team is devoid of centers and Sutter will be under contract for a while and that is a benefit to me.

If you don't like my guys, fine - but don't pretend like you are some hockey guru, because I've seen your team and it's just as bad as mine.

You say 30 point center who does shtoi like its a bad thing. Easily replaceable? Gk try and purchase one...it wont be that cheap unless that c is 35+ years old.
