The owner of this thread is going to be leaving some very nice forwards unprotected as it stands now.

Still have to be NHL players that met a minimum GP mark.

Yeah I think playoffs could be a possibility right off the bat depending on how things look. I'm hesitant to try and go for it with an expansion team, though, so we'll have to see how the options look.

yea my team is going to lose a good player - Protected list is probably Coyle, Galchenyuk, Zibanejad, Bennett (i REALLY think he should be exempt though), Schenn, Patches, and then one other Forward.

D- Vatanen, Keith, Martinez. ....

bump. Bishop piece updated.

Added on Griess too. They are both similar goalies IMO for stats so ... go for it. Happy to trade one later, pre-expansion draft

Available bait

Goalies
1. Ben Bishop - starting goalie for ... LV? STL (Allen blows) ? CGY ? DAL (?) ? shit season, but a top5 goalie none-the-less
PRICE - Waiver ineligible pieces. Tkachuk and DAL system got 30 games of BoboCop. Bishop is historically a better goalie, and cheaper. Backup isn't necessary.

2. TBAY system - Next year's backup and all that for Vis in TBAY. Features decent dudes WIlcox and the Kristers Gudlevkis dude.
PRICE - Don't need to deal them, but ... there we go. Most likely once the goalie shuffle all clears out Fraser and I sort this one out.

3. Thomas Griess - Starting goalie, i think he's going to be a top10 goalie next year in Fantasy. 3.3Million starting next year. He's been one of the best goalies by ESSv% for the past ?3 years. Brooklyn is his team now.

Centers - Trading for a Winger
Brock Nelson - 40-50 point 2nd line C that PKs, PP, hit+/game, 2 SOG/Gm as a C. 24 years old. 2.5 millino next year.
PRICE - similar winger...
Brayden Schenn - He's a Center at the next position update. 60 point guy who destroys the PP. Hits and SOG are very strong. 5.1 million
Have offered targetted guys like Trocheck (Schenn + ) etc for him.

Wingers - Neutral position swap.
Perry - stud. Pricey. Would deal with futures to come out neutral stats-wise but a bit cheaper - really this would facilitate other deals.
Hrivik - AHL/NHL guy. grinder type.

These are my more "notable" prospects:

GOalies:
Michael McNiven - cut from the CAN WJ team, MTL prospect. Worth at least 3rd apparently (Lee offered publically).

Forwards
Andrew Poturalski - Signed by CAR out of NCAA, doing well in AHL. Lee was pissed I snatched him. Bonus points?
Nicolas Roy - CAN world Junior team Center. CAR prospect. -
Schroeder - scoring for MIN currently. who knows with this guy.. he's a wildcard Marchessault kinda hope.

Defense
Nemeth - DAL D man- needs a change of scenery but is playing daily now.
Scott Mayfield - NYI, D man, waiting to crack it in. Does well in lineup, prototypical old school Defensive D man who can skate.
Boikov - COL D, RUssian World Junior D man last year, in AHL now.

Picks
NYI 1st 2018 - this is not a late pick; it's a mid round pick.
got some solid 3rds too.
bump. added schenn, willing to combo Nelson and Schenn together for a W and C. WIlling to Add blue chip prospect Roy if needed, etc. Sample of offers include Schenn + Nelson + Roy + for Trocheck and Lee (scott ain't dealing Trocheck at all, so don't ask him).

Every prospect is a blue chipper in the same way that there are more than 10 top 10 players.
