Not really. I give up a lot of H2H and Periph in Jokinen. Raymond is almost useless right now. I bought Milky when he was hot, so the regression is soon to come.
I am happy with the deal, but just being realistic. Mike met my trade block requirements to a tee, so the deal made sense for me.

I agree here... Raymond isn't doing anything now that he isn't PK anymore in Calgary; definitely don't want to rely on him to score. Melker is scoring at +25% shooting rate right now, good luck keeping that up and gives zero periphs... the big loss is the potential in fasching. I'm not 100% sold on him, he's had a poorer year this year in NCAA - may still be a good power forward but he's at least a few years away. Who knows if one of the kids i picked up makes the show. I think its pretty fair.LeanMachine wroteCOLONNot really. I give up a lot of H2H and Periph in Jokinen. Raymond is almost useless right now. Re: Trade - SJS/PITT
Really improved his offence last year in the AHL and has played well again this year on an underachieving Marlies team. Was a very good scorer at the OHL level too, but his skating has the potential to hold him back from cementing a scoring role at the NHL level. Would be happy if he developed into a 30-40 point 3rd liner but that's optimistic.LeanMachine wroteCOLONWhat are you thoughts on McKegg?
