2018 Lottery watch:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing

Spots 19-27 will be determined after this weekend's playoff results. If Vegas is eliminated, they will have the 19th pick (owned by Chicago). Winnipeg would by the 20th pick (owned by Toronto).

Based on the first round of the playoffs...Pittsburgh (owned by Nashville), Edmonton and Florida (owned by Chicago) have picks 16, 17 and 18 overall.

I've updated the draft pick spreadsheets post-deadline so the 1st round picks should be accurate.

Nope how did I wind up 6? Should be 4. And Chicago moved up to 1.

I corrected the order on the lottery...I don't know why the order was shuffled up in spots.

I need to make any GP adjustments to the standings...that's the un-edited order.

So some teams (Arizona and Chicago) are still going to be shuffled some? I believe both missed gp right? Or is that done post lottery?

Arizona moves back 1. They fijished last and moves to 2nd pick pre lotto.

Chicago was allowed to miss gp. They finished 2nd last. However because arz missed gp they move to 1st.

That is the only shuffling. Essentially arizona and chicago switch spots, and arizona is not able to move up due to the lottery.

So Sjs GM lucks out and his Chicago pick doesn’t move because it was a new GM? That doesn’t seem fair to me in 3rd spot...

I can understand him not having to compensate for missing gp but that pick not moving at all? Uhhhh seems wrong..

Essentially I’m the only one getting the shaft in this situation.

You arent getting the shaft. Mathematically the pick wouldn't have moved back.

Chicago missed gp. He was in 2nd spot. That pick should still move back to 3rd, no? Once again I understand Chicago not paying compensation like Paul had to, but why would it not drop?

I mean obviously nothings going to happen but I feel I should be drafting at worst 2nd prelottery since the team in front of me missed GP

Automoving back is punishment, which isnt being given. If the pick had missed gp and the math calculation we use to determine where the pick would have been had chicagp hit gp had said they would have moved back, then u would have moved up. It was very close, but chicago didnt gain eniugh points to pass u.

is what it is I guess.

I definitely feel like I got the short end of the stick in this entire situation though. Especially in such an important draft.

Sjs just lucks out that shiv quits. Very weak.

Don't worry Shiv will be back again to destroy another club, welcomed back with open arms only to leave again.

SJS benefits greatly from Chicago being crappy. Had there been a GP punishment, I wouldn't have made ANY trades. The end result would have been the same, or worse because I could have passed you. Instead of 1 and 3, you could have 1 and 4 or 5. Just be happy man.

You know I only own my own ranger 1st right? Why should I be happy that the team with the Chicago pick doesn’t get it moved back because “a new GM came in half way through the year so no GP penalties to be imposed”. I should essentially be looking at 1st prelottery, second at worst...

Fuck that. It’s not like shiv hasn’t already quit this league on like 3 separate occasions prior to this time, yet the CC kept letting him back in.

Precedence states the pick move back though as it has been with other Gms.
